Camping in Fruita, CO. was spectacular! The mountain biking and hiking is awesome. We have so much fun camping with the boys. We have plans to do a lot more this summer. We'll keep you posted. Enjoy the pics!
So, we took a break from the powder at Monarch and went in search of the legendary Champagne Powder. We found some great snow and also a crusty layer underneath. Probably because it was so warm last week and now we are back in winter. Here we are on one of the better bump runs - we agreed there aren't too many skiers that look as good as we do! Just ask us... We had so much fun in Steamboat -- wish you all could have been there.
The boys ripped it up at Keystone, Sunday, January 13, 2008! We all had a blast cruising around the mountain. Big Smiles!! How could you not with all the great snow we've had this season.....SO FAR! Jett also had fun in the lodge making friends and flirting with all the pretty ski bunnies!
Christmas present opening lasted a whooping 10 minutes this year! Jett had fun playing with his new Teddy and the older boys are thrilled that they will be going to Disneyland in Feb. 2008.
Another Christmas successfully done. Merry Christmas to all of you and cheers to much health and happiness in the coming year. Love, Karen, Andy, Dylan, Travis & Jett.
Hi Everyone! Kiki and I made the trip down to Salida for the weekend...great times were had! We skied Crested Butte on Saturday and Monarch Sunday...Monarch kicked some major butt! Skied our faces off - deep snow, tons of sunshine and family - can't ask for much more than that.
Here is a link to a site where Susan's picture shows up being an official ski exchanger Bro. The skiers are making trades all around the country (of the skis that is). Go Here and scroll all the way down the page.
We rode the Gondola, hung out in the lodge, and watched all the skiers. Andy and I took turns skiing and thought how cool it will be someday when our little Jett will be trailing behind us in the powder!
These shots were all taken with Rick's camera so the quality is not the greatest. Anyhow we thought it would be fun to share them with you, so here they are.
Rick and I skiied at Crested Butte on 12/4 -- first day on skiis this season. The snow was really good for early season at the Butte. Some man-made and some real snow. We went with another ski instructor and met several more there. We are all ready to get going on the snow and hope that this latest forecasted weather brings in on for us! Check out the fun photos in Rick's post just after this one -- as you can see -- we are the cutest couple on the mountain and the weather was perfect! Hope we can all make some runs together and soon. Maybe you should all take the new poll. Multiple answers are allowed.
